The Town of Shoals owns and operates the Spring Hill Cemetery. The cemetery is located just outside of the town limits on Chicken Farm Road. The Cemetery was established in 1824 and sits on 24 acres.
No Ground Decorations: All decorations including lights and flowers must be on the stone, not the ground. Shepherd hooks must touch the base of stone, and no fencing of any kind is allowed. Planting of trees, shrubs, or flowers on cemetery grounds is not permitted. If gravesite decorations become a nuisance to our groundskeeper they will be removed.
The mowing of the cemetery is currently contracted out. The current contract is bid to Boomers Lawn Care, LLC.
Cemetery deeds can be recorded at the Martin County Recorder’s office for a fee of $25.00
We have an additional service charge for weekends and holidays resident or non resident, full burial or cremation in the amount of $200.00.
